    As a technical lead, I led the development and maintenance of numerous dynamic web and mobile applications. The group I managed fluctuated between ten and fifteen employees depending on the current workload. We developed applications that used both Java and PHP technologies. Most applications connected to SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases with high volumes of data and transactions. When necessary, I used my prior experience as Software Engineer to play a hands-on role during the architecture, design and development phases of projects. As manager of BIC Consulting USA, I developed and implemented the strategy and business plan in order to successfully enter the US Market. Under my leadership we achieved outstanding results in the first year of operations surpassing by 30% the best-case scenario. My duties include creating partnerships, negotiating contracts, and managing outsourced projects.

    Served as the manager of the software factory, I led a team of fifteen engineers in developing custom, multi-tiered software systems for various customers in the automotive, retail and healthcare industry. I trained the team for Java and SAP integration achieving 100% of Java certification ratio. I worked with the developing team to design, code (J2EE, PHP), test and support several enterprise applications. My duties also included refining requirements, handling customer concerns, proposing application enhancements, and keeping abreast of new technologies that may be useful to any applications developed by my organization.     Development of a Navigation System for Mexican Navy ships using several languages (Java, .Net, C++, Labview) and communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, TFTP, RTP). Responsible for the design and implementation of the communication infrastructure for data, images and video interchange among the ships. The system was able to process and share information from several devices, such as, Radar, GPS, Gyro-compass using the NMEA standard.
